Anaesthesia for eye surgery, head & neck surgery, obstetrics
Dr Tim Nguyen completed his medical degree from UNSW in 2014 and undertook his specialist Anaesthetic training at The Alfred in Melbourne from 2018 until 2021, completing a complex airway and Head & Neck Anaesthetic fellowship in 2022. He was awarded Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) in 2023.
Since 2023, Dr Nguyen has been a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne before relocating home to Sydney to be closer to family and the warmer weather. He currently is a visiting Specialist Anaesthetist at Prince of Wales Hospital, The Royal Hospital for Women, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and various private hospitals.
Dr Nguyen is a Supervisor of Training for the College of Anaesthetists and member of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) and European Society of Regional Anaesthesia (ESRA). His main area of interests encompass trainee education, anaesthesia for airway/Head&Neck surgery and Obstetric anaesthesia.
